Dried Lemon Slices
These Dried Lemon Slices are unique and beautiful. There are many different ways to use them for baking and cooking.
Here are a couple baking ideas for dried lemons:
- Stewed these lemons in a sugar and place them on top of your desserts, such as cakes. Let me tell you, the stewed lemons are the first to go, People love them!
- Take lemon and orange slices and break them into little pieces. Stew them in rum and sugar until much of the juice has evaporated. Be creative and add nutmeg or any spice you think may be appropriate. Pour your creation on ice cream for an elaborate touch.
- Break these lemon slices into little pieces and add with any of your favorite dried fruits in muffins. I suspect pieces of dried lemons will be amazing in poppy seed muffins. Perhaps you can make some and send them to me so I know for sure.
