How to dry your own fruit:
Our Natural Dried Fruit is dried without the preservative sulphur dioxide, also known as SO2. You too can dry fruit naturally at home. Take a peach, apple, persimmon or any larger piece of fruit and cut it in to slices that are about 3/8 of an inch thick. Lay each slice of fruit on a cookie sheet. Lay the cookie sheet in the sun for 3 or 4 day. This will only work if it is at least 90 degrees out side and less then 50% humidity. A good way to check to see if the fruit is finished is to take the thickest slice, pick it up and squeeze it very hard. If any juice comes out, you will want to let it dry a little longer.
