And they grow unbelievable organic Bananas!
The Abeyratnes are committed to sustainable and regenerative farming. They run a completely organic, almost 100 percent solar farm and compost all the banana peels and other plant trimmings right back into the ground as fertilizer. As we sought out these partners we discovered that Sri Lanka is becoming known worldwide for its sustainable and ethical farming practices! Back to this family: They, like us, believe that healthy working conditions are vitally important. And they, like us, are directly involved in making their community a better place to live and work.
