Perfect, just what I expected

I just received my order which included Turkish apricots

I just received my order which included Turkish apricots. The package is good through 09/2027 but they are very dark in color and taste bitter. Not sure I like this, or how I can use them. I have never had them before but didn't expect this. As a FYI, my package took 2weeks to get here with several delays. Should have got to me by Fed Ex but ended up at the Post Office. No damage, just delayed. Please advise of my options. Thank you
